1. Eat delicious food at Radcliffe Market

Located by Lidl, Radcliffe Market is by far one of the best markets in Greater Manchester.
During the day, you will find food shops as well as crafts and a hairdresser.
If you are looking for a fun thing to do in Radcliffe, consider doing one of the pot painting activities at Paint a Pot.
In the evening, the market becomes even more interesting because that’s when you’ll find all the street food / restaurants open as well as the bar.

Jamaican, Mexican, Japanese, Italian, Thai… you will find all sorts of cuisines here! Best of all? It’s very affordable compared to street food spots like Mackie Mayor or the Hatch in town.
If you have a bit of a sweet tooth, the cow shed and its delicious ice creams and waffles will be perfect for you!
You can simply head to the market to get a table (or book beforehand). You will find all the menus on the table and can then go order and pay at the stand you want food from. Once it’s ready, they will bring it to the table.
The bar offers all sorts of drinks including local beer and gin.
On Thursdays, they also host a pub quiz with 4 rounds of questions for £2.
At the weekend, they often have live music on. If you want to see the programme, you can consult their Facebook page.
