❤️Reviews: 9.4 / 10 – See all reviews here.
📍Location: Near Market Street
Another of the best hotels in Manchester with a room with a balcony is the Stock Exchange Hotel.
Located on Norfolk Street right in the heart of the city centre, you may have guessed that this used to be where Manchester’s Stock Exchange was.
Manchester’s Stock Exchange dates back to 1906 and the building’s history is still reflected in the hotel’s décor.
The hotel has created the perfect balance between old and new, creating décor that extenuates the decorated ceilings and marble columns.
One of the best things about this hotel is you will find professional chef Tom Kerridge’s restaurant Bull & Bear inside.
It’s reason enough to book into the hotel.
The hotel breakfast is served in the same space as Kerridge’s restaurant.
Though there isn’t a gym, the hotel has added yoga mats to each room, a nice touch.

5. Leven Manchester

❤️Reviews: 9.4 / 10 – See all reviews here.
📍Location: Gay Village
Leven Manchester gives off good vibes from the outset as it’s housed in a red-brick warehouse formerly used for manufacturing cotton.
It’s the perfect nod to Manchester’s industrial past.
This hotel is located on the pedestrian Canal Street which runs alongside the Rochdale Canal.
Manchester’s thriving Gay Village is close by and Manchester Piccadilly is around a five-minute walk away.
Perhaps because of the industrial building, this hotel gives off apartment vibes more than a hotel.
Exposed brick walls, the occasional funky tiled bathroom and flashes of emerald green make for a highly Instagrammable space.
Their Living the Dream room is ideal for visiting with friends or family.
This penthouse spot has two bedrooms, a sitting room and most importantly access to a terrace which offers views of Manchester’s diverse and unique architecture.
With an open-plan kitchen complete with a breakfast bar this is really more like finding the perfect rental property on Airbnb.
There isn’t currently a restaurant on-site but there is the lobby bar that serves up a variety of drinks and snacks from noon until 1:30am from Wednesday to Sunday.

The hotel is housed within a former warehouse, giving it that trendy, stylish and apartment-like vibe.

They are located on the third floor and the balcony looks out over Canal Street.
It’s the ultimate outside accommodation space that is rare to find in an ever-growing city.
As is the case with the other rooms there’s a boujee gothic element to the décor.
Quirky cushions and well-dressed monkeys holding lamps give that spark of joy as you enter the room.
Other rooms feature garish statement wallpaper, whilst still others have that nod to industrial Manchester with the exposed brick walls.
Their on-site restaurant is always worth a visit with their staff keen to assist with dietary requirements and recommendations of where to eat in the city.
9. Hilton Garden Inn Manchester Emirates Old Trafford
⭐4 star hotel

The hotel has 85 bedrooms that overlook the Old Trafford cricket pitch some of which have balconies.
Talk about getting close to cricket.
Their deluxe king room has a stadium view option with a balcony.
